New cancer drug tested for safety in advanced cases

NCT ID NCT02711137

Summary

This early-phase study aimed to find a safe dose and check the side effects of a new drug called INCB057643 for people with advanced cancers that had stopped responding to other treatments. It tested the drug alone and combined with standard treatments in about 137 participants with various solid tumors and blood cancers. The main goal was to understand how much of the drug the body could tolerate and its initial safety profile.
