New cancer drug begins first human testing

Summary

This is the first study in humans to test the safety and side effects of an experimental drug called INCA036873. It will enroll 280 adults with advanced solid tumors or blood cancers that have worsened despite previous treatments. The main goal is to find the highest dose patients can tolerate without severe side effects, while also checking how the drug moves through the body and if it shows any early signs of helping control the cancer.
