Clearing the clutter: new study tests In-Home help for hoarding

Summary

This study tests whether adding in-home decluttering support to group therapy helps adults with hoarding disorder reduce clutter and difficulty discarding items. About 90 participants in Sweden will receive group cognitive-behavioral therapy, with some also getting help decluttering at home. The goal is to see if this extra help improves hoarding symptoms more than therapy alone.
