New drug trial aims to control debilitating nerve disease

Summary

This study is testing whether an investigational drug called IMVT-1402 can help control Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), a rare nerve disorder that causes weakness and disability. It will enroll 162 adults who are already on stable treatment for CIDP. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either IMVT-1402 or a placebo (inactive substance) to see if the drug can prevent relapse and improve strength and function over 24 weeks.
