Summary
This study tests whether a semi-structured tool for anesthesia handoffs during surgery can reduce complications like heart injury, kidney injury, and pneumonia. About 4,500 adults having non-cardiac surgery will take part. The goal is to see if better communication between anesthesia teams leads to safer outcomes.
