New program aims to speed up diagnosis and treatment for kids with sleep breathing problems

NCT ID NCT06828835

Summary

This study is testing a support program called REPOSE, which uses a patient navigator to help families overcome barriers to care for children with sleep-disordered breathing (like sleep apnea). The navigator works with 80 families to coordinate appointments, provide resources, and offer support, aiming to get children evaluated and treated faster according to medical guidelines. The goal is to see if this approach leads to more children receiving proper care, especially those from diverse backgrounds who often face delays.
