First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study is testing a special recording system, like a black box in airplanes, to watch and learn from surgeries in a high-tech operating room. The goal is to find mistakes and improve teamwork so that future procedures are safer for patients. About 400 people having planned vascular surgery will take part, and the research team will analyze videos and data to understand what leads to errors.
