Free tests & money talks: new plan aims to get Moms-to-Be the care they need
NCT ID NCT07341581
Summary
This study is testing practical ways to help more pregnant women in rural Côte d'Ivoire get the recommended prenatal checkups and tests. Researchers are trying two main approaches: first, by providing key services like ultrasounds and blood tests for free, and second, by offering information and financial planning sessions to women and their partners. The goal is to see if removing cost barriers and improving household planning increases the number of women who complete the full set of recommended prenatal care visits.
