First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a text message-based mental health and substance use screening program helps more pregnant and postpartum women get the treatment they need compared to standard in-person screening. Over 10,000 women from MUSC clinics will participate by completing online questionnaires. The goal is to see if the text-based approach improves attendance and retention in mental health or substance use treatment.
