Summary
This study aims to understand how communication between patients and their transplant doctors affects the chances of getting a live donor kidney transplant. Researchers will record and analyze consultations with 70 Black and Caucasian patients to identify key communication factors. The findings will be used to create a training program for doctors to improve their communication and increase equity in transplant access.
