NCT ID NCT07427836
First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using multiple tests together—like brain scans, spinal fluid analysis, and thinking/movement assessments—can better diagnose idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH) and identify who will benefit from surgery. Researchers will follow 116 adults aged 60 and older with suspected iNPH. The goal is to reduce misdiagnosis and improve treatment decisions.
