First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether collecting a second sperm sample shortly after the first can provide better quality sperm for ICSI (a type of IVF). The goal is to see if this improves fertilization rates, embryo quality, and pregnancy chances. The trial involves 108 couples where the male partner has abnormal sperm, and the female partner has no known egg-quality issues.
