Summary
This study looks at whether moving combination blood pressure pills to the top of the electronic prescribing list—and adding the word "(PREFERRED)"—makes doctors prescribe them more often. Combination pills can help patients take fewer pills each day and follow guidelines for value-based care. Over 12,000 adults with high blood pressure will be included, and the study will track whether their doctors prescribe a combination pill during their visit.
