NCT ID NCT05371327
First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested a method called public deliberation, where community members learn about a topic, hear different viewpoints, and discuss ethical issues together. The goal was to see if this approach could help improve how teens give consent for HIV prevention research, especially for teens from marginalized groups. 128 participants, including teens and adults, took part in online sessions. The study did not test any treatment or prevention method itself, but rather aimed to gather opinions on different consent approaches.
