Summary
This study tested a program to help birth attendants in five Tanzanian hospitals provide better, safer care during and after childbirth. Over 65,000 women and their newborns were included. The program used simple guidelines and regular training sessions. Researchers measured whether this approach reduced stillbirths and other complications.
