Summary

This study looked at ways to help children with autism who also have severe behavior problems, like aggression or self-injury. The goal was to make their communication more flexible and prevent bad behaviors from coming back when treatment is interrupted. Nine children aged 5 to 13 took part, and researchers measured how often they used appropriate communication and how often problem behaviors occurred.
