New spinal implant aims to help paralyzed patients walk again

Summary
This study is testing a fully implanted device that uses electrical stimulation to help people with incomplete spinal cord injury walk better. Participants will have the device surgically placed, then undergo training to use it for walking assistance over a couple of years. The goal is to see if the device helps people walk farther and more independently in their daily lives.
