First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at 8 adults who needed a tooth replaced right away with an implant. Doctors compared using a special bone powder versus a small piece of the patient's own gum tissue to fill the gap around the implant. They used scans to measure changes in bone and gum over 6 months, aiming to find which method works better.
