Summary
This study looked at 28 adults with a single back tooth implant to see if a special 'protective' bite design helps prevent bone loss and implant loosening compared to a normal bite. Over 2 years, researchers measured bone loss and implant movement using X-rays and a device. The goal is to find the best way to design the bite to avoid implant problems.
