New implant offers hope for uncontrollable bladder leaks
NCT ID NCT04232696
Summary
This study is testing a small, implantable device that sends gentle electrical pulses to nerves near the tailbone to help control symptoms of urinary urgency incontinence. It's for people who have tried other treatments like medications or physical therapy without success. The main goal is to see if the device safely reduces the number of daily leakage episodes and improves quality of life over 6 to 12 months.
