Summary

This study looked at whether placing a dental implant 4 millimeters or 6 millimeters below the gum line affects bone loss around the implant after a tooth is pulled. Thirty-five healthy adults who needed an immediate implant after a tooth extraction took part. The goal was to see which depth leads to better bone stability over one year.
