Gloves and boots that fight chemo side effects: a new hope for cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether special gloves and boots, called Lilac Glove and Boot, can prevent or reduce nerve damage in the hands and feet caused by chemotherapy. The devices apply gentle pressure to limit how much chemo reaches the nerves. About 142 adults with solid tumors starting certain chemo treatments will participate. The goal is to see if this simple approach can keep patients more comfortable during cancer treatment.
