First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study was designed to find out how often high potassium levels (hyperkalemia) cause doctors to reduce or stop important heart medications called RAAS inhibitors in emergency room or hospitalized patients. The goal was to understand how common this problem is and whether new potassium-lowering drugs could help keep patients on their heart medications. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
