Radiation boosts immunotherapy in advanced cancer trial

NCT ID NCT07381231

First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special type of high-dose radiation (adaptive pulse radiotherapy) to standard immunotherapy can help control advanced solid tumors better than immunotherapy alone. About 35 adults with various cancers who are already receiving or planning to receive immunotherapy will get 2-3 radiation sessions alongside their usual treatment. Researchers will monitor tumor response, side effects, immune system changes, and quality of life.
