NCT ID NCT03285321
First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding immunotherapy drugs (nivolumab alone or with ipilimumab) after standard chemoradiation helps people with stage III non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. 105 participants were randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups. The main goal was to see how long the cancer stayed under control. This is a disease control approach, not a cure, as ongoing monitoring and treatment may be needed.
