Can a special shake help cervical cancer patients tolerate chemo better?
NCT ID NCT06349148
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a special nutritional drink (immunonutrition) can help malnourished cervical cancer patients better tolerate chemotherapy and improve their quality of life. Fifty patients receiving standard chemoradiation will be randomly assigned to get either the special drink or a standard nutritional drink. The main goal is to see if the special drink reduces severe side effects that force treatment delays or dose reductions.
