New trial aims to shield blood cancer patients from Post-CAR-T infections

Summary
This phase 2 trial tests whether giving immunoglobulin (antibody) replacement therapy can prevent serious bacterial infections in people receiving CAR-T cell therapy for blood cancers. CAR-T therapy often depletes the body's own antibodies, raising infection risk. The study will compare immunoglobulin infusions against a placebo in 150 patients to see if infections can be reduced.
