NCT ID NCT07324083
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested two materials used to preserve the jawbone after a tooth is pulled, allowing a dental implant to be placed sooner. Twenty-two adults who needed a premolar removed received either a dentin graft, a synthetic graft, or no graft. After six months of healing, implants were placed and loaded within 48 hours. The goal was to see which method best maintained bone width and implant stability over two years.
