NCT ID NCT07022743
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding artesunate (a malaria drug) to the standard leukemia drug imatinib helps control chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) better than imatinib alone. 75 adults with newly diagnosed or poorly responding CML will take both drugs for up to 12 months. The goal is to see if the combination leads to deeper remission and is safe for long-term use.
