First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at 50 adults with a detached retina (a serious eye condition) to find out who might develop a complication called PVR after surgery. Researchers will collect a small sample of eye fluid during the standard surgery and take extra eye scans before and after. The goal is to create a risk model using these samples and images, but this study does not test any new treatment.
