Summary
This study tested a drug called ilofotase alfa in 271 adults who were at risk for kidney damage after open heart surgery. Participants received two doses of the drug or a placebo through an IV. The goal was to see if the drug could keep kidneys working well by measuring creatinine levels and other kidney health markers.
