First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at whether peeling the internal limiting membrane (a thin layer on the retina) during surgery for retinal detachment helps improve vision and prevents scar tissue from forming. The study planned to include 21 adults with retinal detachment but was stopped early. The main goal was to measure visual acuity and check for scar tissue after surgery.
