New device aims to fix dangerous artery bulges without cutting off blood flow

NCT ID NCT07005141

Summary

This study is the first to test a new medical device called the iHub stent-graft in people. It is designed to treat dangerous bulges (aneurysms) in the iliac arteries, which are major blood vessels in the pelvis. The goal is to see if this device is safe and works well to seal off the aneurysm while keeping important nearby arteries open. Ten adult patients will have the device implanted in a minimally invasive procedure and be followed for one year.
