New pill aims to lower uric acid in kidney patients

Summary

This study tests an experimental tablet called IG3018 in 60 adults with high uric acid, some of whom also have chronic kidney disease. The main goals are to check the drug's safety and see how well it lowers uric acid levels over 4 weeks. Participants will receive different doses to find the best balance of safety and effectiveness.
