Summary
This study tested an oral drug called ifetroban in 46 males aged 7 and older with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) who also had heart problems. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and how it works in the body. DMD is a severe genetic disease that weakens muscles and often leads to deadly heart issues, and this research aimed to find a new treatment option.
