NCT ID NCT06305689
First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at 65 children with idiopathic toe walking (ages 6-18) to compare two treatments: casting (non-surgical) and surgery. Researchers measured walking patterns, muscle strength, and daily function to see which treatment worked better. They also searched for genes that might be linked to the condition. The goal was to help doctors choose the best treatment and understand why some children toe walk.
