Summary
This study looks at how changing body position (lateralization) affects breathing effort and lung air distribution in 30 critically ill adults on mechanical ventilators. Researchers will use special imaging and muscle sensors to measure changes. The goal is to find better ways to position patients in the ICU to improve breathing and recovery.
