Summary

This study compares two high-tech cleaning methods to prevent dangerous infections in hospital intensive care units. Researchers will test hydrogen peroxide fogging and ultraviolet light devices in 12 Brazilian ICUs with 4,800 patients. The goal is to see if these advanced cleaning methods reduce antibiotic use and prevent infections better than standard cleaning alone.
