Quiet nights in the ICU: can simple changes help patients sleep?
NCT ID NCT07309406
Summary
This study tests a nurse-led program designed to improve sleep and reduce stress for awake patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). The program involves simple changes like lowering noise and light at night and organizing care to cause less disruption. Researchers will compare sleep quality and stress levels in patients who receive this special care against those who receive standard ICU care.
