New drug aims to ease the agony of ICU breathing tubes

Summary
This study is testing a new injection called Tegileridine Fumarate to see if it can safely and effectively manage pain and sedation for 2-3 days in ICU patients who need help breathing from a machine. It will compare the new drug to an existing standard treatment. The goal is to help keep patients comfortable and potentially reduce their time on the ventilator.
