New ICU score aims to predict patient survival more accurately
NCT ID NCT07338240
Summary
This study is testing a new scoring system called SOFA-2 to see if it can better predict which critically ill patients in intensive care units are at highest risk of dying. Researchers will observe 5,200 adult patients across multiple hospitals in Türkiye, comparing the new score to the current standard. The study only involves collecting routine medical data—no special tests or treatments are being given.
