NCT ID NCT07290712

Summary

This study aims to understand the long-term health problems that can affect people after a serious stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), known as Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS). It will follow 5,000 adult ICU survivors and their families for up to five years, collecting health data and surveys to identify who is most at risk and how these problems develop over time. The goal is to gather knowledge to help improve future care for ICU patients and their loved ones.
