Tracking the hidden toll of ICU survival
NCT ID NCT07373561

This study aims to understand how many intensive care unit (ICU) survivors in Denmark experience ongoing health problems after leaving the hospital. Researchers will follow 800 adult patients for one year after their ICU stay to track physical, mental, and thinking difficulties. The study will identify how common these problems are and how they change over time, but does not test any treatments.
