Summary
This study followed 60 adults who survived a severe breathing failure episode in the ICU. Researchers wanted to learn more about their recovery, including sleep problems and risk of returning to the hospital. Participants had sleep tests and breathing measurements three months after leaving the ICU, and were tracked for one year.
