Can a quick ICU test forecast your recovery?
NCT ID NCT07167121
Summary
This study aims to find out if a simple physical assessment given when patients leave the intensive care unit (ICU) can predict how well they will be able to walk three months later. It involves 25 patients who needed a breathing machine for a long time and are now experiencing muscle weakness. Researchers will compare the initial assessment score with a walking test done during a routine follow-up visit to see if they are connected.
