Summary
This study tested a Turkish version of a checklist called the CALCULATE scale, which is designed to predict a patient's risk of developing bedsores (pressure injuries). Researchers used the tool on 76 adult patients in intensive care who did not have bedsores when they arrived. The goal was to see if this translated tool was accurate and gave consistent results compared to another commonly used assessment.
