Revolutionary 'Forever Trial' aims to rapidly improve ICU care

Summary
This study is creating a new, flexible research system to test many different treatments for critically ill patients at the same time. It will enroll up to 10,000 adults admitted to intensive care units. The goal is to continuously learn which treatments help patients survive longer, spend fewer days on life support, and have a better quality of life, while quickly stopping treatments that are harmful or don't work.
