Summary

This study observed whether the caring behaviors of intensive care unit (ICU) nurses affect the quality of care received by critically ill adult patients. Nurses filled out surveys about their own caring behaviors, while a researcher observed the actual care given to patients. The goal was to gather information that could help improve training and the overall quality of nursing care in the ICU.
