New Light-Based device could help doctors Fine-Tune ICU fluid therapy
NCT ID NCT07298720
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive device that shines light on a patient's arm muscle to measure blood flow. Researchers want to see if these measurements can accurately predict whether a critically ill patient in the ICU will benefit from receiving extra intravenous fluids. The goal is to help doctors make better, more personalized decisions about fluid treatment.
