First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study observes how intensive care doctors discuss do-not-resuscitate (DNR) decisions with families of critically ill Muslim patients. Researchers will survey doctors after these conversations to understand what helps or hinders reaching a decision. The goal is to improve communication and training for end-of-life care in Muslim-majority settings. No patients or families are directly involved.
